Molded rubber oar stops - regular style. Priced and sold in pairs.

These stops are manufactured from synthetic epdm rubber which is impervious to sun and extreme weather conditions. Inside diameter of oar stop is 1.7". Will fit oar diameters up to 2"OD. A tight fit is ideal so there is no slippage.

Prevents oars from slipping through oar locks. Out performs similar parts made from plastic. Will not produce any noise when using.

Installation tips: soak the oar stops in piping hot water for 10 minutes. This will help expand the oar stop when you fit them on to your oars. Also the use of soap and water will make the application easier. (Dish soap is ideal) If you are still having trouble getting them to move on your oars then the use of a large screw driver to help rotate them up the oar into position will help. Once these oar stops are on they will not come off.
